                                                                   INTRODUCTION

Hansa Polymers  is a manufacturer of High Quality Cenosphere.
Its production is based on the best raw material obtained from Kazakhstan. Material is imported  direct from Ekibastuz region in Kazakhstan widely known  as a  source of best cenospheres.   Product is washed , dried, and fractionated  in plant located in central Poland.  Packed in 0,5 mt big bags or 25 kg paper sacks on palletes, wraped in stretch film to protect against humidity, is being sent to customers  all over the world.

Product is offered in 4 grades : 0-150 , 150-300,  150-500  micrometers . Other grades like 0-500 and 0-100 are also availavble on request ,

                                                                 Cenospheres

A Cenosphere is a lightweight, inert, hollow sphere made largely of silica and alumina and filled with air or inert gas, typically produced as a by product of coal combustion at thermal power plants. The colour of cenospheres varies from gray to almost white and their density is about 0.4–0.8 g/cm3 (0.014–0.029 lb/cu in), which gives them a great buoyancy. Cf. glass microspheres. Cenospheres are hard and rigid, light, waterproof, innoxious, and insulative. This makes them highly useful in a variety of products, notably fillers. Cenospheres are now used as fillers in cement to produce low-density concrete. Recently, some manufacturers have begun filling metals and polymers with cenospheres to make lightweight composite materials with higher strength than other types of foam materials. Such composite materials are called syntactic foam. Aluminium-based syntactic foams are finding applications in the automotive sector. Silver-coated cenospheres are used in conductive coatings, tiles and fabrics. Another use is in conductive paints for antistatic coatings and electromagnetic shielding

  • Cenospheres in Pharmaceuticals

  • Cenospheres have been used in the pharmaceutical industry for many years, as the small balls can act as a near-perfect transport device when coated with drugs.

       Cenospheres in Advanced Industries

  • Cenospheres are also being used in the development of metal matrix composites (MMC), a variety of materials that attempts to combine the high energy absorption, impact resistance, and low density of the spheres with the qualities of other substances.
